Creative problem solving is a hallmark of our work. With an average of 15 years of job experience, our professionals are equipped with equal measures of skill, experience and pride in the work we do everyday. Our project managers are adept at keeping projects on track – working to identify potential problems and/or changes early in the process, and to communicate and address those issues with confidence and clarity.

The aviation portfolio of David Mason + Associates includes work completed at O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, IL; Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport, Irving, TX; Chicago Midway International Airport; and, Lambert St. Louis International Airport. DMA has had responsibility for civil and structural engineering, surveying and 3-D scanning, and sustainable design services for a broad array of projects ranging from runway design and rehabilitation to security work, terminal design and disaster recovery. DMA has demonstrated the ability to keep our nation’s busiest airports operational during significant renovation and/or expansion. As a team, we focus on creating or supporting state-of-the-art, functional airport design that is operationally efficient while maximizing safety and convenience for the traveling public.

Civil Engineering

Our civil engineering services help make life better through site development and transportation projects. We partner with hospitals, universities, schools, park districts, private developers, and local government agencies to build the physical infrastructure that keeps us moving forward.

Structural Engineering

No matter where you go, structural engineering is the framework of our Nation’s foundation.

Surveying and 3D Scanning

For the past few years, 3D laser scanning systems have been employed very successfully in industrial surveying as well as in the design and manufacturing industries. These scanning systems allow the user to survey structural surfaces and three dimensional bodies. The data is then transferred to computer where it is converted into accurate three dimensional models. The high quantity and precision of the measured points enable the user to generate realistic, 3D illustrations of complex structures. We have many years of experience working with this technology and are pleased to be able to provide you with both this innovative surveying service and our expertise.
