Mike Maxwell is Vice President of Structural Engineering for David Mason + Associates. He excels at leading high‑performing teams that deliver innovative, efficient, client‑focused structural solutions. He has senior project management experience from concept through completion and consistently exceeds expectations in technical excellence and project delivery.

Mike joined DMA in 2024 and brings 21 years of engineering experience to lead a wide range of structural projects across multiple market sectors, including public infrastructure, commercial development, and institutional facilities. His strategic mindset, clear communication, and hands‑on leadership approach foster collaboration and creativity and ensures high-quality and high-performing projects. He is an active member of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Structural Engineering Institute. Mike is also licensed as a Professional Engineer in multiple states, including CO, DE, FL, IN, MD, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WV, and WI.

Mike is dedicated to mentoring engineers, advancing technical innovation, and strengthening relationships with clients and partners. He enjoys coaching youth baseball and has two sons.
