Our Staff Engineer supports detailed design and activities related to the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and other documents. Staff Engineers will work on a variety of projects based on firm needs & project demand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide engineering and technical direction to Project Managers and team in the preparation of electrical studies, reports, plans, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Perform engineering and design calculations, equipment and construction specifications and procurement documents.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Possess a limited ability to interpret wiring and schematic drawings, one and three-line diagrams, as well as control and logic diagrams is desirable.
  • Confer with Project Manager and senior project staff to ascertain coordination, completeness, and accuracy of critical technical requirements.
  • Capable of being assigned all sized, more complicated projects and performing all design tasks with very limited supervision.
  • Employee should have experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.) and Document Control Management Software.
