When it comes to the design of K-12 facilities it is important to develop designs on the basis of educational development for young students. David Mason & Associates establishes planning goals and objectives reflecting the goals of client leadership, students, and agencies having jurisdiction. We recognize the value of consensus building among project stakeholders and we dedicate significant time and effort to achieve agreeable options.

At DMA our engineering departments not only work on the aesthetically pleasing projects, but we also focus on bringing a utilitarian approach to campus infrastructure projects.

Designing subsurface utilities, utility tunnel systems, water detention/retention facilities and utility studies are just a few ways that DMA continues to grow our K-12 portfolio. Recent projects include playgrounds and athletic field design, additions and expansions to STEM focused facilities and design of gymnasiums which double as FEMA safe rooms. We are familiar with academic institutions’ and their commitments to enrich the community that surrounds their schools and districts. All projects must convey the sense of commitment to learning that school districts embrace and promote. Our goal is to contribute to the continued success of all learning environments we have the opportunity to impact.
