Chicago Housing Authority, Fannie Emanuel Apartments

David Mason + Associates (DMA) provided civil engineering services for the renovation of the former Parkview Apartment building for the Chicago Housing Authority. Located at 3916 West Washington Boulevard, the 20-story building was converted into the Fannie Emanuel Apartments and provides 181 one-bedroom senior housing units. This gut rehab project included a new facade, mechanical systems, lobby, laundry, fitness center, and landscape improvements.

Design work included demolition of all hardscape and utility infrastructure, new building utility services, site grading, landscape coordination, ADA improvements, parking lot reconstruction, perimeter fence and automated security access, and a new underground stormwater management system.
