Chief Financial Officer

Carl Navales serves as Chief Financial Officer for David Mason + Associates, where he provides financial leadership and strategic guidance to support the firm’s continued growth. In this role, he partners closely with the senior management team to refine DMA’s long-term financial roadmap through comprehensive planning, budgeting, and forecasting. He oversees finance functions such as accounting and controlling, tax, treasury, and participates in contract negotiations, ensuring that every decision aligns with the company’s mission and objectives. DMA’s information technology and human resources departments also report to him.

Carl joined DMA in 2021 and brings experience from large corporations and entrepreneurial environments in multiple industries. He has led in senior positions for mergers and acquisitions, accounting, controlling, and internal audit. His analytical approach, collaborative leadership style, and focus on sustainable financial practices have made him an integral part of DMA’s executive team. He is also a 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 honoree.

Carl enjoys traveling, golf, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Natalie, have two sons.
