James Gleaton, PE

Vice President, Eastern Region

James Gleaton joined David Mason + Associates as a Regional Manager in 2016 after years of extensive work in civil engineering and natural gas utility engineering. His years as an engineer and a project manager for Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) provide him with expert knowledge of utility design – gas, water and electric – and most importantly, how to resolve utility conflicts impacting site development projects. Mr. Gleaton’s work has included significant public projects for city and state governments. As a manager at DMA, Mr. Gleaton is responsible for overseeing our Philadelphia staff and project execution.

James was born and raised in Philadelphia, where he converted a love of math and science into a career in engineering. His knowledge of the very specific issues involving delivery of electricity and natural gas in the mid-Atlantic region make him the perfect leader for DMA’s growth in the region and beyond.

James and his wife Lynn have raised two sons. To relax, James has become a master of spinning records and setting the mood at parties as a part-time Professional DJ. He is also a lifetime member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
