Michael Griffin is Division Manager of Structural Engineering for Chicago at David Mason + Associates. He brings 13 years of experience across municipal, healthcare, hospitality, financial, automotive, and bridge projects. His background spans roles as a designer, contractor, and owner’s representative, giving him a well‑rounded perspective on the technical and practical opportunities.

Mike joined DMA in 2025, where his focus has been on growing the Chicago structural team and strengthening relationships with clients and partners throughout the region. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in AZ, FL, GA (dual PE/SE registration), PR, SC, TX, and VA, and a licensed Structural Engineer in GA (dual PE/SE registration), HI, and IL. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Steel Construction, American Society of Civil Engineers, ASCE 7 wind subcommittee, Structural Engineering Institute, and the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois.
