GRG Bridge Inspections

DMA provided structural inspections for handrails, shade structures, and light structures near the Park Over the Highway located along the north and west perimeter of the Arch Grounds. Additionally, DMA performed inspections of the Grant’s Trail Pedestrian Trestle Bridge over I-44 in Kirkwood, MO, the River Des Peres Greenway Pedestrian Bridge over the River Des Peres in South St. Louis City, and the GRG Pedestrian Trestle Bridge over I-70/I-44 just north of downtown St. Louis. DMA provided visual inspections of the bridge substructures, superstructures, decks, member connections, etc. Deliverables included written reports for each structure including overall condition assessment and scoring, safety evaluations, load ratings, and any recommend repairs. During the inspections, MODOT-permitted lane closures were utilized in conjunction with aerial lifts and drone imagery to provide a thorough inspection of each of the structures.
