Mississippi River Greenway

The 32 mile Mississippi Greenway is a major component of The River Ring Plan.  It connects the Missouri Greenway, the Maline Greenway, the Branch Street Trestle, the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (Arch) grounds, downtown St. Louis, and the Meramec River Greenway.  To advance this plan, GRG has invested more than $31 Million in land acquisition and construction on the Mississippi Greenway since 2001.

David Mason + Associates (DMA) has provided topographic and right-of-way surveys for several incremental projects on the Mississippi Greenway.

DMA provided Structural Engineering services for an elevated pedestrian bridge structure approximately 900 feet long, consisting of 12 spans approximately 70 feet in length (each) and 13 feet in width.  We provided the design of the bridge substructure including calculations, construction documents, cost estimates, and technical specifications.

Our civil engineers have provided site grading and drainage designs, trail alignment and profile, utility relocations, and hydraulic analysis necessary for no-rise certification and regulatory approvals.
