Transmission Substation – Greenfield

David Mason + Associates (DMA) worked as a subconsultant to Burns & McDonnell on a 115/22.86KV greenfield substation. This new substation will improve distribution capabilities switching between neighboring substations and serve new load in the area.

Installations include transformers, circuit switchers, breakers, switches, SS transformers, and PT installations. DMA provided a full bill of material along with updated drawings and construction release documentation. A new control house was installed including DC, AC & relaying systems to increase protection and control capabilities for the new substation. DMA provided schematics and wiring diagrams for the implementation of the protection and control upgrades.
