University of Illinois Foundation Philanthropy Center

This University of Ilinois Foundation philanthropy center is a refined and functional, three-story brick and glass structure with more than 60,000 square feet of modern office, meeting, and work environment finished space. Notable spaces include an open and inviting atrium, third floor outdoor terrace, café, conference center suite, employee wellness studio, talent management and professional development centers, media studio, learning lab, library, dining, and other common areas.

This new university foundation HQ and innovative philanthropic space acts as the research park gateway to host more than 120 companies, as well as employing students and full-time technology professionals in partnership with the University of Illinois.

David Mason + Associates (DMA) provided civil engineering design, permitting and construction phase services, including site demolition, site layout, grading, utility, stormwater management, coordination with building utilities, and ADA design.

The project’s sustainability initiative include targeting LEED Silver and WELL v2 certifications.
